Through the events of the past year, we’ve seen the crucial importance of scientific knowledge in our world. To celebrate this amazing field of human endeavor, from the 5th to the 14th March, we’re showing our support for British Science Week!
Organised by the British Science Association, the event aims to put a spotlight on science, technology, engineering, and maths in the UK. British men and women throughout history have contributed greatly to the global advancement of science. As a school, it is our job to help educate the scientists of the future.
At St George's Church of England Primary School, we recognise the importance of science and the role that it plays in our curriculum. Science is an exciting and practical subject that allows pupils to put their practical skills to good use. Through the combination of observation and critical thinking, children gain an understanding of the world around them.
By celebrating British Science Week, we work to ensure that our pupils develop the knowledge and key skills required for any future career path.
