Heron Class are Dinosaur Detectives

Herons' Class have been 'dinosaur detectives' this term. It all began when they discovered some large dinosaur eggs on the field.

The following day the eggs hatched and several dinosaurs were spotted on security cameras around the school. The children were very excited and used used their findings to write some amazing newspaper reports in English.

In Science, the children investigated which liquids were best for hatching dinosaur eggs, observing and recording their findings over the course of a week.

They came to the conclusion that water was by far the best liquid, although many predicted it would be lemonade because it fizzes so much!
