Prayer is a central part of our Christian distinctiveness at school. Children are taught about what prayer is and given opportunities each day to engage in collective prayer, reflection and silent prayer and their own personal prayer if they choose to.
Dear God,
With compassion in our hearts, help us to show our school's values because,
in showing courage, we will be able to face our fears,
in showing friendship, we will bring happiness to others,
in showing honesty, we will always be trusted,
in showing respect, we will make people feel special,
in showing forgiveness, we will lighten our hearts, and
in showing kindness, others will do the same in return.
