Open Days

Due to coronavirus restrictions, we are currently not running visits for individual families. However, if you would like us to provide any further information about St George’s C of E Primary School, or if you would like to get in contact with our acting head, Emma Groom, don’t hesitate to contact our admissions office by sending an email to: [email protected], or by calling 01380 870243.

In-Year Admissions

St George’s C of E Primary School welcomes students joining us at any time of year. If you currently live outside of the local area, you can find more information about transferring to a Wiltshire school by clicking the button below.

Moving schools can be daunting, so we encourage children to have a half- or full-day visit beforehand. They will also be ‘buddied up’ with a good role model so they quickly feel welcome and settled. What’s more, our staff will also liaise with the child’s previous school to make sure we have all the necessary information to help with their learning.

You can also contact our school office for more information about in-year transfers via the email [email protected], or by calling 01380 870243.

New Starters - What to Expect

Every child’s start to school life is a vitally important period. At St George’s, we do everything we can to make it a smooth, happy, and positive experience. Our early years team place a strong focus on assisting children with the transition from home to school life.
